Community

The Gord Turner Renovations team considers it a privilege to support local community organizations who we feel have a positive, long-term impact within our society:

Kelowna’s Gospel Mission is a not-for-profit, Christian organization that cares for thousands of hungry, hurting and homeless people every year since 1978. We support their commitment to serving others and creating solutions for long-term change.  Stone Soup and the 30K Club are two of the events with which we are involved.

Habitat for Humanity Kelowna is part of an international, non-profit, faith-based organization working for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Gord Turner Renovations has been involved in various building projects, supporting affordable housing in the community.

Young Life is a non-profit Christian mission that began in 1940.  Young Life is involved in over 40 communities across Canada and in over 35 countries around the world. They reach out to high school students caring for them and sharing the Christian faith through adult friendships, weekly clubs and various camps.  Gord’s sons were a part of Young Life while they were growing up – traveling to Mexico to build houses.  The company sponsors Young Life’s annual golf tournament in continued support of their work.
